The Civilian Crime Intelligence Network (CCIN) family shared their messages of support and hope for a country in lockdown through a video on 24 April.

CCIN founder Dr Reza Patel said, “We are overwhelmed with this pandemic that has besieged us. It requires common sense, calm and discipline…”
“No matter how small, do your best to bring an end to this threat to humanity and help us flatten this curve,” added Patel.
Yaseen Theba from Vision Tactical saluted President Cyril Ramaphosa for taking decisive action in the fight against coronavirus.
Many CCIN members thanked front-line workers for their selfless efforts to put themselves at risk for the good of others.
Executive chairperson of the Gauteng Provincial Community Police Board TJ Masilela encouraged residents to comply with regulations.
“If you have no business being outside, please stay in. Let us protect our community, our kids and our future. Stay alert, stay safe and stay home,” said Masilela.
Owner of SCP Security Clive Maher encouraged members of the public to assist their neighbours in need at this time.
Founder of Help SA Ashraf Muhammad addressed community members who feel overwhelmed, “Your life is worth living… We get nasty thoughts. Don’t allow those thoughts to let you make nasty decisions.”
Director of Professional Child Care College Bev Wilson encouraged parents to spend time with their children and make memories during lockdown.
