Parkhurst Clinic now tests for Covid-19

PARKHURST – Residents can now be tested for Covid-19 for free at Parkhurst Clinic.

Ward 117 councillor Tim Truluck has confirmed on 30 March that Parkhurst Clinic is now testing for Covid-19 and the test is free of charge.

Truluck is pleased with the news, “It’s an excellent idea and it is comforting to know that it is located in the heart of the Parks area. The fact that it is free is also very good news as times are now very tough for everyone.”

Criteria for testing:

  • Contact with an infected person
  • Travel history to high-risk areas
  • Symptoms such as cough, sore throat, difficulty breathing and fever.

The clinic is operational from Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 4pm and is located on the corner 5th Avenue and 14th Street, Parkhurst.

Details: Parkhurst Clinic 011 788 1527.
