Animal lovers are invited to support the Sandton SPCA by participating in a Cyclethon on 28 March.
The event is set to take place at The Zone @ Rosebank at the SPAR Centre Court from 8am to 1pm.
Education officer at the Sandton SPCA Wilna Lamb said, “Members of the public are encouraged to come and cycle on stationary bicycles for a period of 10 to 50 minutes. The more people hop on and off to cycle, the more money is generated for the Sandton SPCA.”
Lamb added that the event would be a fun-filled day for the whole family, where locals did a bit of exercise and at the same time contributed to a fabulous cause.
The SPCA hopes to attract at least 300 participants to the event. There will also be spot prizes and a smoothie stand at the event
Tickets are sold through Quicket at R160 per person.
