Police are on the search for an unconfirmed number of suspects who shot and killed a 35-year-old man on M1 North next to Corlett Drive offramp, at around 1.50pm on 13 March.
According to a statement released by the South African Police Services(SAPS), preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was driving from Johannesburg to Sandton when he was shot by suspects who used automatic rifles.

The motive for the killing is unknown at this stage. Police are appealing to any member of the public who witnessed the shooting or with information that can help in the investigation to please call crime stop on 08600-10111 or via MySAPS App. Callers can remain anonymous.
