Suspects arrested for possession of stolen motorcycles

HILLBROW – The suspects are expected to appear at the Johannesburg Magistrate's Court.


The Johannesburg Central Police Station received a tip-off about stolen motorcycles hidden in a flat on the corner of Pritchard and Goud streets in Hillbrow on 24 February.

The spokesperson for the Johannesburg Central police, Captain Xoli Mbele said the officers followed the information and found three motorcycles on the property and a man inside the flat.

Mbele added, “The suspect led the police to his brother at the corner of Small Street and President Street where he was also apprehended. ”

Both suspects were arrested for the possession of stolen motorcycles and will appear in the Johannesburg Magistrates’ Court.

An investigation is underway.
