Residents’ association encourage locals to attend public meeting

GLENHAZEL – Residents need to bring IDs to participate in the forum.


A reminder is being issued to community members to attend the annual general meeting of the Sydenham Sandringham Residents Association that will be held at Jabula Recreation Centre on the evening of 19 February.

The agenda of the meeting will include the election of a new committee for the association, as well as a discussion on proposed projects for the coming year.

Chairperson of the association Adrian Chiger, said the launch of the Blockwatch initiative for Sydenham and Sandringham would also take place and all those interested in participating in this initiative were encouraged to attend.

“Prior to the meeting there will be a short election for members to join the Sandringham Community Policing Forum, representing the residential suburbs of Sandringham, Sydenham (north of Kinfauns Street) and Glenhazel,” said Chiger.

Residents are encouraged to bring their identity documents and proof of residence if they are keen to be a member of the forum.
