Soccer achiever upgrades from provincial to national level

PARKVIEW – A young Parktown Girls' soccer player sees her dreams gradually come true as she was recently selected for the national squad.


Director of sport at Parktown High School for Girls, Catherine van Eyk conveyed huge congratulations to Rosalie James who has been selected for the South African U17 National Soccer Squad.

Van Eyk said if Rosalie is selected further for the final team she will play on 29 February in Zambia. “Rosalie also represented her province playing for the Gauteng U17 team in Bloemfontein in December where her team placed second overall. This is an absolutely fantastic achievement, Parktown is incredibly proud of you!” said van Eyk.
