Khulekani Ngozo cruises into year 2020 with new wheels

ORANGE GROVE – An emotional Ngozo said it was hard for him to believe he was a winner of a brand-new car until he received the keys.

In their quest to fulfil their responsibility to give back to the communities they operate in, Caltex filling station in Orange Grove and its business partners Coca-Cola and Fresh Stop handed over a brand-new car to one of their customers.

The 32-year-old Khulekani Ngozo from Zola, Soweto drove home with new wheels after he was announced a winner of Coca-Cola Win a Car competition. His name was selected among many contenders who entered the competition.

An emotional Ngozo said it was hard for him to believe he was a winner of a brand-new car until he received the keys.

“Well I came here sometime last year in December to fetch my sister and while I was waiting for her I decided to fill up my car here at Caltex. The guy who was helping told me about the competition and I decided to enter the competition. I’m extremely happy and I can’t believe the fact that I will be riding new wheels going back home. The year 2020 has come with blessings for me.”

Account manager at Coca-Cola Dirk Lourens said the competition was a token of appreciation to their loyal customers who buy their products every day. “Our partnership with Fresh Stop has grown in the past few years and we sat down and asked ourselves what we can do to give back to our customers who support us year in and year out.

“We came to the conclusion to give away a car through this competition that runs for three months. We are really grateful for the support from communities we operate in and we just want to say to them, ‘Thank you.” Lourens said.
