KES matrics celebrate excellent results

HOUGHTON – King Edward VII School achieved a 99.5 per cent pass rate.


King Edward VII School (KES) in Houghton achieved a 99.5 per cent pass rate and 84.36 per cent bachelor pass in their matric exams.

The school enrolled 212 candidates who received a total of 313 distinctions averaging 1.48 distinctions per learner.

Muhammad Rawat was the top achiever, receiving an average of 93.7 per cent and eight distinctions while Joshua-Daniel Ruthel achieved an 89.7 per cent average and eight distinctions.
