Sacred Heart Colleges attains 100 per cent pass rate

OBSERVATORY – 97.3 per cent of Sacred Heart learners achieved entry to degree study.


Sacred Heart College has congratulated the Class of 2019 on attaining a 100 per cent pass rate.

Sacred Heart College said in a statement that 97.3 per cent of their learners achieved entry to degree study (7.8 per cent above the national IEB average) and achieved 65 distinctions.

Twenty four per cent of the candidates achieved an A-aggregate and 29 per cent a B-aggregate. The dramatic arts learners did very well with 10 (out of 13) achieving distinctions.

Top achievers for 2019 were:

  • Mahin Ali – 8 distinctions
  • Tariro Banganayi  7 distinctions
  • Zada Hanmer – 5 distinctions
  • Tomas Gavriel – 4 distinctions
  • Nicole Ndlovu – 4 distinctions
  • Simon van Garderen – 4 distinctions.

Sacred Heart concluded that they were proud of all their learners and thanked the parents and guardians who have walked this journey with their children.
