Parkview residents and stakeholders thanked for playing their roles

PARKVIEW – The PRA extended their gratitude to everyone who contributes to making the suburb functional.


On behalf of the Parkview Residents Association (PRA), acting chairman Theresa Gibbon would like to wish their members, residents, friends, employees and their families an enjoyable and safe holiday season.

“We are sincerely grateful for the help and support of our ward councillor, Bridget Steer, the various PRA Exco and sub-committee members, all the Parkview businesses and volunteers and all the residents for the healthy debate, discussion, sharing of helpful information and for the financial donations and donations in kind – it all makes for a functional suburb that is a good place in which to live and work,” Gibbon said.

Some of the 2019 successes and achievements of the PRA include:

Gibbon added that the PRA also considered town planning applications to ensure sustainable development in Parkview in compliance with heritage legislation. She said, “It ensures ongoing communication with residents through the Parkview Council and Parkview Network WhatsApp groups, and acts as a liaison between residents, councillors, municipal departments, business owners, schools, the golf course, estate agents, various community organisations and SafeParkview.”
