Locals view the dazzling display of Christmas lights at Melrose Arch to the tunes of Mi Casa

MELROSE ARCH – Community members were in the Christmas spirit at the turning on of the lights ceremony at Melrose Arch.

Crowds of community members flocked to Melrose Arch on 22 November for the turning on of the Christmas lights event.

Locals danced to the tunes of the Mzansi Youth Choir and Mi Casa before Melrose Arch managing director Mike Vermaak switched on the colourful display of enchanting lights.

Young and old enjoyed taking photos at the various light displays and walked through the beautiful garden displays at the Piazza.

Children also had an opportunity to view Santa Claus at the Destination Christmas event, where he will make a few more appearances before the close of the festive season. Journalist Sarah Koning was there to capture all the action…
