A lavish Xmas party awaits the children of Banakekeleni Orphanage in Alex
FAIRMOUNT -– The children of Banakekeleni Orphanage will be treated to a lavish Christmas party at the Fairmount Bowling Club on 16 December.
The Fairmount Bowling Club will on 16 December host the children of Banakekeleni Orphanage and Child Youth Care Centre from Alexandra as part of its Christmas Charity Drive.
Banakekeleni Orphanage is a non-profit organisation which provides a safe haven for homeless children. “We at the Fairmount Bowling Club are community driven and are proud to be associated with this organisation,” said Brian Lewis, president of the club.
Organisers Deborah Lewis and Cheri Kahn of the club’s social committee, have made this wonderful initiative a possibility and the club is proud to be able to sponsor the event which enhances the spirit of Christmas for the children.
The club would like to thank the community for their wonderful and generous donations towards this special cause, Lewis said.
