Rosebank Management District board has had a productive year

ROSEBANK – It has been quiet a challenging year for the Rosebank precinct but there are also achievements to celebrate.

The Rosebank Management District (RMD) would like to thank all the stakeholders for the great business done together as well as their continued loyalty and faith in the district this year.

Precinct manager for the district, Lerato Khiba said now is the time for both parties to relax and celebrate, have a well-deserved rest this Christmas and let every day of the holiday season be filled with joy.

“Together we’re also making an impact on some of the most important issues facing society. The RMD board of directors has made a bold commitment to provide CCTV infrastructure. It’s been a year of amazing announcements across the board, in April we unveiled the new Rosebank logo, had a successful re-branding exercise and also introduced the new 24-hour hotline number,” Khiba said.

She added that the Public Safety Ambassadors (cleaning team and security officers) and Rosebank Car Guards in partnership with Rosebank Homeless Association and the Rosebank Police Station have put in a lot of effort to make Rosebank ‘a better place’, and their depth of care and effort is appreciated.

“The knowledge that you’ve done something great for someone else is a powerful reward — one which I hope you feel during the holiday season and throughout the year. There’s nothing else quite like it.”

In September, the RMD had their annual general meeting which provided a glimpse of Rosebank’s achievements and outstanding work to be carried out in the forthcoming year.

As the holiday shopping season kicked off in November, the RMD had plenary meetings with all the security companies, Metro police and SAPS to ensure that the criminal elements are not welcomed in the Rosebank space; so criminals are warned to watch out.

Khiba concluded, “Enjoy this time with your friends and loved ones. I could not be more excited about what’s in store for next year, and for the opportunity to work with all of you to make it happen. Have a safe festive season.”
