Residents association to be relaunched

HIGHLANDS NORTH – Residents from Highlands North have embarked on a journey to re-establish the residents association.

Residents from Highlands North are planning the re-establishment of the Highlands North Residents and Ratepayers Association.

One of the residents, Rachel Feldman said they will hold a public meeting to be chaired by Eckart Zollner on Wednesday, 27 November at the Waverley Bowls Club from 6.30pm until 7.30pm.

The re-establishment of the association is driven by the desire to advance the interests and collective well-being of Highlands North residents. “The association will serve as a much-needed vehicle for addressing pressing issues impacting life in our neighbourhood,” said Feldman.

She said to ensure success, they want to engage as many residents and business owners and enlist their support for the association’s efforts.

Issues in the area which the residents association needs to address include road and traffic safety, municipal services delivery and the enforcement of building and environmental bylaws and regulations. “We are looking forward to the association’s launch and its potential to affect positive change in our community through collective action. Not only will the association provide a platform for residents to share their concerns, but also their ideas for new projects to make Highlands North a better place to live for all its residents.”
