WATCH: Giniel de Villiers takes local celebs for a spin

Dakar rally specialist Giniel de Villiers recently had some rather interesting and amusing co-pilots during testing on the Toyota Gazoo Hilux. De Villiers, who won the 2009 Dakar Rally and is a four-time Rally of Morocco champion showed Mpho Pops, Taryn Alberts and Khanya Mkangisa just what it’s like inside the cabin of a Dakar Rally car.

While it might seem fast when watching these vehicles race across the dunes it is in actual fact far faster than most might imagine. So fast, that for those unaccustomed to the speed, it is near impossible to do anything but hang on and scream. Mpho, Taryn and Khanya tried their skills at navigating.
