Sandringham CPF is set to hold elections for office bearers

SANDRINGHAM -– Residents of Sandringham, Sydenham north of Kinfauns Street, and Glenhazel are urged to attend an elective meeting of the CPF on 26 November.


The Sandringham Community Policing Forum (CPF) will hold elections for its six office bearers for the coming year.

This is in accordance with a request from the Gauteng Provincial Government, and is for SAPS Sector 1, subforum for the following residential areas; Sydenham north of Kinfauns Street, Sandringham and Glenhazel.

Residents are urged to attend this electoral meeting to be held at the Jabula Recreation Centre on 26 November at 6.30pm. The meeting will be conducted by officers from the Sandringham Police Station.

The role of the office bearers will be to attend monthly meetings and work together with police representatives to identify and assist in fighting crime in their area. Members of the public are urged to bring with their identity documents and proof of residence for nomination purposes. Those elected will need police clearance in order to be members of this forum.
