In the midst of the country-wide glee, AKA suggested that brands come together the same way they did for the couple to help pay student debt, although he received backlash for his comment, his sentiments were not in vein as it spawned the idea of doing a free concert to help alleviate student debt.

“Let’s tag all those brands and companies who donated to that lovely couple. I want to do a free concert. All proceeds go to alleviating student debt,” AKA said in a tweet.

While it seems like an idea at this point, AKA has received support and said he would rally up brands to help bring the #FeesMustFallMegaConcert to life. The concert has been billed for early 2020 and has seen iconic hip-hop festival Back to the City hop on board as the first brand in support of the concert.
