Karabo Moletsane teams up with Nike By You for Air Force 1 Low collection
JOBURG – Moletsane’s Air Force 1 Low collection is inspired by South Africa’s roots and rich culture.
Award-winning illustrator, street artist and graphic designer, Karabo Poppy Moletsane has teamed up with Nike By You for an Air Force 1 Low collection. The collection is inspired by Moletsane’s SA roots and rich culture and sees her use the vibrant colours found in traditional African beaded bracelets and the ever-present beauty salon posters that can be found on the streets of Joburg.
Having recently gotten her own Google Doodle for International Women’s Day, Moletsane has worked with famous brands and her work captures South Africa’s zest, culture and innovation and is steady becoming a staple in Joburg’s street culture. She also recently collaborated with Soweto Gold and has had her illustrations on the iconic Orlando Towers.
