Planned water shutdown for Parkhurst

Some residents in the suburb of Parkhurst will have no water due to Joburg Water planned maintenance on 7 November.

Joburg Water said in a statement that it will be tying in new pipes in 2nd Avenue, Parkhurst. The water shutdown will happen on 7 November from 8am to 4pm.

It will affect an estimated 500 properties from 2nd Avenue to 6th Avenue and may also affect residents from 7th Street to 22nd Street.

The connection of the new pipe valve is to improve service delivery, Joburg Water concluded.
