Ready or Not (2019)

A bride’s dream quickly turns into a nightmare when her strange new in-laws force her to take part in a terrifying game. Ready or Not is a slightly amusing horror directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett and stars Samara Weaving as a newlywed who becomes hunted by her husband’s family as part of their wedding night ritual – a ritual that sees the new bride fight for her life in a seemingly harmless game. The film is a terrifying spin on every girls dream.

IT Chapter Two (2019)

There’s absolutely no time for clownery as Pennywise, the evil clown, returns 27 years later in IT Chapter Two. The film is the sequel to the 2017 smash hit, IT and sees Pennywise makes his return to the sleepy town of Derry. Twenty-seven years later, the Losers Club have grown up and moved away, until a devastating phone call brings them back. The horror film is sure to send chills down your spine as the Losers’ Club reunites and decides to face their childhood trauma one last time.

Addams Family (2019)

An animated reimaging of Charles Addams’ Addams Family, the new and digitized Addams Family film sets the tone for a colourful and ghoulish horror film as The Addams family’s lives begin to unravel when they move to New Jersey and face-off against the 21st century and its greedy, arrogant and sly reality TV host Margaux Needler while also preparing for their extended family to arrive for a major celebration. The film sees Charlize Theron, Snoop Dogg, Chloë Grace Moretz and more lend their vocal talents to old and new characters.

The Tokoloshe (2018)

Directed by Jerome Pikwane, The Tokoloshe follows Busi, a penniless woman with dangerously bottled-up emotions, who gets a job as a cleaner at a dilapidated hospital in the heart of Jozi. It is here where she discovers an abandoned girl in the hospital. The young girl believes she’s tormented by supernatural forces. Busi must also face her own past demons in order to save the child from the abusive and insatiable monster that pursues them both relentlessly, the tokoloshe.

Halloween (2018)

The cult classic returned for its eleventh instalment and is set 40 years after the original film, the plot follows Laurie Strode as she prepares to face Michael Myers when he returns to Haddonfield, Illinois, after his killing spree on Halloween night in 1978.
