With just a few weeks until entries close for the upcoming ninth season of Tropika Island Of Treasure, Tropika is encouraging all those who want to jet off to the beautiful island of Curaçao to get their auditions in.

If you’re still uncertain on what you should include in your audition, host Katlego Maboe has some tips.
“Show off the best part of your personality. If you’re funny, be funnier! We want to see the best that you can do. We want to see that you will have fun on the island and be entertaining to watch. If you’re submitting an audition video, make your video short and punchy. Try and capture us within the first 15 seconds. No pressure!” Maboe said

Maboe said the perfect #TIOT9 contestant should have a competitive spirit and be a team player to increase their chances at bagging the shared R1 million at stake.
“You need to be a team player; to know when to lead and when to follow in order to benefit the team; have a strategic mind; you need to be quick on your feet and be able to make decisions quickly. Being able to receive instructions and to quickly plan the next steps are also vital qualities to have,” he said.
