Thornhill Manor Family Fun Day

MODDERFONTEIN – The annual Thornhill Manor fête held on Saturday 12 October did not disappoint

The Rand Aid Thornhill Manor retirement village held its annual family fun day on Saturday 12 October with great attendance.

The day lived up to its expectations. “The day was perfect for a fête with the sun shining and the great public attendance,” said the manager of the retirement village Esme Erasmus.

“There was a lovely atmosphere, with music being played, and residents, their family and friends browsing through the stalls, having lunch or enjoying a glass of something to keep them cool.”

The plants and bonsai trees available as raffle prizes on the day were donated by village residents. The unusual and beautifully crafted items were also on sale during the day.

Resident Jenny Schoeman who is also the village’s photographer and is always happy to take photos at the various social events sold the crafted items.
