Donate your delicately loved bra to someone who needs it, The Bra Guru in Craighall has called on women to support a good cause.
There’s no doubt that in almost every women’s wardrobe, one or two lonely bras are looking for forever homes. Owner of The Bra Guru, Taryn Palacious started the collection a of couple years ago to donate to organisations such as Pink Drive and Kindness Like Confetti. The bras are donated to women who cannot afford there own.
“I am sure there are many women who don’t actually know that they can donate their old bras. Some we have received are brand new and other have been gently loved,” said Palacious.
The team is calling on women in the community to drop off their unwanted bras and, if the gift of giving wasn’t enough, the team will gift you 10 per cent off a purchase of a bra at their shop. She stressed that the donated bras do not need to be bought at her store.
With only 2 000 bras donated, the goal is to reach 10 000 bras by the end of October and they are willing to collect from residents in the area.
