The Deutsche Internationale Schule Johannesburg based in Parktown hosted their annual Art Exhibition on 10 October.
Head of the art department Jean Lemmer said, “The event showcases the best pieces of art/artworks from all our Grade 5 to 12 learners and there were over 400 items on display.”
The guest speaker for the event was Darryl Gray of the Henry George Gallery in Parkhurst.
Lemmer added that interestingly all the Grade 8 lino prints were sold. More than 25 were purchased on the evening with the proceeds going to the children.
