Joburg kicks off Boiler Room and Ballantine’s True Music tour
JOBURG – Sho Madjozi, Busiswa, Stiff Pap, Queezy, Doowap, and Lelowhatsgood kick off multi-city True Music Tour.
Boiler Room and Ballantine’s True Music tour officially kicked off on 19 September at Braamfontein’s 94 Republic. The first stop on the multi-city tour, the Joburg leg featured explosive performances and future sounds of South Africa within the alternative, experimental and LGBTQ+ communities.

Performing live on the night were Sho Madjozi, Busiswa, Stiff Pap, Queezy, Doowap, and Lelowhatsgood. These are the artists redefining and reinterpreting the established sounds of kwaito, gqom, Afropop, hip-hop and house and taking them a step further.
