6 September: Toy Toy September

Toy Toy is set to kick off month-long celebrations with guest DJ Brad S, Grant VR, and back-to-back sets by Dill and Fabio. Celebrate eight years of Toy Toy in style at And Club. Strictly no photos or videos on the dancefloor. Tickets R100 at the door.

7 September: Moshito Street Festival

One of the most anticipated music experiences on the country’s calendar, The Moshito Music Conference and Exhibition promises a series of amazing music educational talks, conferences, showcases and much more at Constitution Hill. From 5 to 6 September, this year’s edition will culminate in the highly anticipated free Moshito Street Festival taking place at the Newtown Junction Mall.

7 September: Huawei Joburg Day 2019

Everything about this year’s Huawei Joburg Day is a celebration. The line-up is a celebration of award-winning artists, of hip-hop’s upper echelon, of the most electrifying live acts, of DJs that are comfortable making music as they are playing it and guest artists that make good songs smash hits.

8 September: Seize JHB

Seize the City has always been about a bold call-to-arms for every renegade to celebrate the power of DIY nightlife culture. The next evolution sees Jose Cuervo team up with Until Until and WeHeartBeat to create Seize JHB, merging two scenes to create an irreverent culture mash-up in a raw, unfiltered way that could only be facilitated through such a unique collaboration. 8 September: Zoe Modiga Live

At the very beginning of every tale is a once upon a time. As the soulful, transcendant Zoë Modiga transitions into a new musical story, she invites music lovers to the celebration of  two years since the release of the award-winning debut album of Yellow : the Novel while in anticipation of the next era.
