DSJ learners battle it out at netball and soccer tournaments #SchoolSport

PARKTOWN – Boys and girls of various schools battle it out in a soccer and netball tournament hosted by DSJ.

 


Three of Deutsche Internationale Schule Johannesburg’s (DSJ) partner schools in Soweto met at DSJ for a soccer and netball tournament on 7 August.

Participants were Grade 6 learners of DSJ, and Tshilidzi, Tumang and Forest Hill primary schools.

After some exciting soccer and netball games, the boys soccer team and girls netball team of Tumang Primary won both events. The DSJ boys and girls placed third at the tournament.

The event was supported financially by the German Embassy in Pretoria. Sports equipment was purchased for each of the schools in Soweto and handed to the accompanying teaching staff.
