Burna Boy, Sjava and Kwani Experience added to AfroPunk Jobrug 2019 line-up

JOBURG – AfroPunk has revealed their second phase artist line-up adding onto already exciting acts, Burna Boy, Sjava, Kwani Experience, Urban Village and Blinky Bill join the line-up.

AfroPunk has revealed their second phase artist line-up adding onto already exciting acts. Burna Boy, Sjava, Kwani Experience, Urban Village and Blinky Bill are set to grace ConHill on 30 and 31 December.

The new acts join global sensations Solange, Miguel, Masego, Goldlink, and Nao. As if that is not enough to make people rush to get their tickets, Sho Madjozi, Busiswa, Distruction Boyz, Zoe Modiga, Darkie Fiction, Morena Leraba and Umlilo are some of SA’s top acts slated to give exhilarating performances.

Another win for SA talent is the addition of DJ sensations, DBN Gogo, Fif_Laaa and Lelowhatsgood – individuals who have proven themselves worthy of keeping any crowd on their feet by gifting revellers astounding beats and technically matured sets.

Through their Battle of the Bands platform, AfroPunk is set to give unsigned acts an opportunity to share the stage with established artists at the festival.

For the 2019 edition, festival organisers have announced that a custom made protective dome will be built in order to shield the fans from unexpected rains that have been experienced in the past two years. This will ensure music lovers get a full experience of the festival without worrying about rain or the harsh African summer heat.
