Johannesburg Water will be conducting a water shutdown taking place today, 20 August, from 6am to 4pm in Saxonwold.
The service and maintenance will take place on Oxford and Upper Park roads, residents will not have water and Joburg Water estimates around 500 properties will be affected. The shutdown is to repair the existing pipelines by providing a 250mm valve off the 300mm line in Oxford Road.
No water tanks will be made available. Joburg Water added that the maintenance is to improve service delivery and continuation of water supply.
