16 August: Wits Choirs in Concert with UJ Choir

Wits Choir and Young Wits Choir under the direction of Dalene Hoogenhout will host the UJ Choir for a celebration of choral music. All three choirs will showcase their brand of choral music.  It will be a joy to chorister and audience members alike.

17 August: Free #OMGWAP Concert

Catch Busiswa, Kwesta, Mlindo The Vocalist, and Saudi at the Free #OMGWAP concert at Mary Fitzgerald Square in Newtown. Freebies are up for grab for the first 100 people.

17 August: A Masterclass: Building and Rebuilding Spaces

Hosted by FNB Art Joburg and BKhz, Building and Rebuilding Spaces will see the BKhz team reflect on a year of creating a home for creatives. Facilitated by Thabang Monoa and Molemo Gapare Moiloa, Mandla Sibeko will address the remodelling of and what to look forward to at the art fair with Zanele Kumalo

18 August: Sundays in The Living Room

An event that brings aural quality and progression to Living Room, by inviting South Africa’s finest, and most talented artists to a day on the decks with resident Treepian. A carefully curated musical journey will ensure a world-class day of house music for you to experience and enjoy inside the rooftop oasis.

18 August: JMS Concert 7 Yi-Jia Susanne Hou violin, Annalien Ball piano

Susanne Hou is a three-time Gold Medal winner who was called ‘absolutely phenomenal’ by Sir Yehudi Menuhin. She has played with every major orchestra in over 50 countries and collaborates with musicians of the calibre of Pinchas Zukerman. She will be accompanied by pianist Annalien Ball  They will play sonatas by Schubert and Respighi, as well as works by Shostakovich and Sarasate.
