Sandringham police celebrate Women’s Day

SANDRINGHAM – Police officials from Sandringham police station celebrate Women's Day in Lombardy East.

As a build-up to Women’s Day, policewomen from Sandringham Police Station gathered at Lombardy East Methodist Church for divine intervention and celebration on Thursday 8 August.

They were joined by some of the stakeholders, including Dr Zungu, a gynaecologist from Edenvale Hospital, life coaches and motivational speakers from Johannesburg north areas.

According to the police spokesperson Captain Mohlaume Mamabolo, Reverend Moloi from Lombardy East Methodist Church also joined the celebration.

He said women prayed for all mothers and grandmothers who look after their families through tough and difficult times.

“They pray for those women who look after their family members who are in need while at the same time forging their path,” he said.
