Over 1 800 meals of hot potjiekos were served up to community members in aid of the Nicarela Charity as part of The Greatest Potjiekos Competition on 21 July.
R81 000 was raised through the event, despite a chilly start to the day at George Hay Park in Parkview.
Marketing manager Bridget von Holdt said she was pleased with the turnout and the entries from 35 teams.
“Thank you to the Parkview community for coming out and showing their support,” said von Holdt.
