Sorbet Man Hyde Park pampers Thembalami and Moda men

LOMBARDY EAST – A group of men from Rand Aid's Thembalami Care Centre and Max Ordman Deaf Association enjoy the complimentary grooming session.

A recent pampering for a group of residents from Rand Aid’s Thembalami Care Centre and Max Ordman Deaf Association (Moda) by Sorbet Man Hyde Park left them with a spring in their step.

Sorbet Man, a distinguished big brother of Sorbet Salons in South Africa, invited 10 men from the centre and Moda to enjoy a complimentary grooming session on July 18, in celebration of Nelson Mandela International Day.

The elderly gentlemen were treated like kings, with their pamper packages including a haircut, pedicure, manicure and light snacks.

Elize Raath from Rand Aid’s Thembalami Care Centre, Lombardy East said, “The men enjoyed themselves thoroughly and thanked me over and over for taking them. They felt special, spoiled and saw it as an outing. They came back tired but very happy.”

Nomthandazo Ntisa from Sorbet Man said their key mantra was to touch lives, “That is why we make it a priority to ensure that we grab every opportunity that allows us to enrich lives as well as giving back.”
