Tip-off leads to arrest of two drug dealers in Johannesburg

JOHANNESBURG – Their friend came to the station and tried to bribe the police with R10 000 but he was also arrested.

Two alleged drug dealers were arrested by the Johannesburg police while their friend was arrested later for trying to bribe the police to release them.

This according to the Johannesburg Central Police Station’s spokesperson, Captain Xoli Mbele saying the incident happened on 9 July. Police were busy with their routine crime-prevention duties when they received a tip off from a community member about a suspect dealing in drugs at Ghandi Square.

The officers responded and arrested the suspect who was sitting inside a silver Ford Figo, said Mbele.
