Rotary Club of Edenvale supports Alex charity

ALEXANDRA – The Rotary Club of Edenvale supports an early childhood development charity in Alex.

Every year, the Rotary Club of Edenvale organises a fundraising drive to assist charities in Edenvale and Alexandra.

This year at a Christmas in June function, various charities such as the Manche Masemola Early Learning Centre in Alexandra, Little Eden, and the SPCA were the beneficiaries of the fundraising drive.

Food items made into parcels for the less privileged and hungry in local communities were handed to the Child Welfare Society in Edenvale.

In total, the Rotary Club of Edenvale has so far sponsored charitable projects in excess of R53 000 so far this year.
