The care centre is part of the Flower Foundation Retirement Homes Group and offers a safe and tranquil environment for individuals who suffer from dementia or Alzheimer’s, according to Luisa Miranda, a marketing manager. “Dementia is a debilitating disease and the effect it has on the entire family can be overwhelming resulting in emotional stress for many individuals. .

“On the day, the family members of the residents were treated to an afternoon of entertainment. The theme of the ‘Greatest Showman’ was carried throughout the afternoon with Burt Laas, the village manager who greeted his guests in showman style.”
