Four people injured in taxi collision in CBD

JHB CBD – A collision was reported at 08.14am Thursday (04 July) on Helen Joseph Street in Johannesburg CBD.


Netcare 911 reported that a mini-bus taxi and a light motor vehicle were involved in a collision in the Joburg CBD on 4 July 

The mini-bus taxi caught fire but the blaze was quickly extinguished.

Shawn Herbst, spokesperson of Netcare 911 said four people sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate.

“They were treated on scene before being transported by ambulance to the hospital for further treatment,” said Herbst in a released statement.
