Keep safe in Rosebank this holiday

ROSEBANK – The June school break may invite unwanted criminal elements to the busy Rosebank CBD and management shared tips to keep safe.


A lot of effort is put in by various stakeholders to ensure the safety of Rosebank residents as well as visitors. These stakeholders comprise the Excellerate Management Services who work in conjunction with the Rosebank Police Station members to ensure a safe Rosebank Central Business District (CBD) for patrons to enjoy.

Excellerate precinct manager Lerato Khiba said the June school breaks are generally a busy season for learners and tourists.

“The influx of tourists or scholars usually comes with unwanted criminal elements. Recent crime stats of the Rosebank CBD showed that most incidents of car break-ins are due to valuables left visible in the vehicles,” Khiba said.

She shared some tips on how to protect belongings as well as to stay safe:
