Pridwin Prep learners clean up the streets on #WorldEnvironmentDay

MELROSE – Grade 4 learners got their hands dirty on 5 June to clean up the streets of Melrose.

Grade 4 learners at Pridwin Prep School shared their love for the environment by participating in the #TrashTag global movement on 5 June.

Armed with rubbish bags, gloves and the help of their teachers, boys took to the streets of Melrose, where they collected over 20 bags of litter in just under an hour.

Boys got to see first-hand how much litter there is on the streets, which appear to be clean. The bags of trash were taken to Pridwin’s recycling department where they will be recycled correctly.
