Metro police recovered 40m of copper cable after K9 officers received a complaint about copper cable theft in the inner-city.

“On arrival at Trump and Loveday streets, they [officers] found the complainant who indicated that he heard knocking noises on the M2 near the Rissik Street on-ramp. Whilst investigating, they discovered that the suspects had run away. They recovered about 40m of copper cable which was booked [in] at JHB Central SAP13,” said Metro police chief David Tembe.
