Identifying and responding to child abuse in the 21st century

PARKTOWN – A workshop will be held at the Childline Sunlight Safe House training room to teach people how to identify and respond to child abuse.

 


Childline Gauteng will hold a one-day workshop for professionals and non-professionals working with children.

They will explore how to define and understand what constitutes child abuse, how this has changed over time, as well as how child abuse can be identified and how to respond to a disclosure of child abuse sensitively and appropriately.

Training will cost R120 per person, with a discount for five or more attending from one organisation. Bring your own lunch and share your ideas.

When: 9am to 4pm
