JOBURG – Mi Casa, Tresor and more headline World Gin Day celebrations as revellers flock into the 1 Fox Precinct for a celebration of gin and music.
A global event not be missed! World Gin Day is a global celebration of all things gin. The idea behind the day is simple and straight to the point – to get people all around the world to come together to drink some gin in all its varieties.
Over the weekend, Joburg flocked to the 1 Fox Precinct for a celebration of gin and music. Headlined by Mi Casa and hosted by J-Something, the line-up featured Tresor, Amy Jones, Jay Em, Kid Fonque, Chymamusique and Trev the Japanese who kept the crowd dancing until sundown.
1 Fox Precinct’s craft gin distillery, Ginologist lead the World Gin Day pack with the biggest selection of craft gins on offer with over 10 gourmet food stalls at the newly launched Fox Street Food Hall.
The bar is located inside a century-old warehouse in the eccentric precinct and neighbours the celebrated Mad Giant craft brewery. The innovative and creative menu also showcases other craft spirits which are brought to life by the witty bartenders, who whipped up new creations in response to revellers’ undying thirst.
