On 24 May, St Teresa’s Junior Primary School in Craighall Park held a special assembly and brunch to show their appreciation for the school support staff. During assembly, school principal Lynne Elfick asked the girls to mention all the ways the support staff add to the school.
The girls all acknowledged the important role the support staff plays in keeping them safe, keeping their classrooms and playgrounds clean, looking after the school gardens and making sure everything works at school.
Each support staff member was handed a certificate of appreciation in recognition of their contribution to the success of the school and the girls sang to them.
Later in the morning, they were treated to a brunch in the school garden.
