Hirsch’s teaches women to better handle finances

HYDE PARK – Women came together to network and learn tips on how to be financially savvy thanks to Hirsch's and Azzuri Capital.

Recently Hirsch’s Hyde Park hosted their monthly ladies networking morning to teach women to be money smart. Naseera Turkey, CEO and founder of Azzuri Capital, a company that specialises in financial coaching and training for both individuals and corporates, was a keynote guest. She spoke about the importance of money management and how that gives women power over their future.

Public relations officer at Hirsch’s, Marjone Barnard commented that Turkey’s passion for uplifting women to be financially savvy shines through when she speaks. She said Turkey kept the session very interactive where the women shared their weaknesses when it comes to money.

“You have to make a conscious decision about your finances. It is crucial that you commit to improving your financial situation,” said Turkey.

The networkers were given the opportunity to present themselves and their businesses in a 60-second elevator pitch. This was followed by a lucky draw, networking, sharing of business cards and enjoying refreshments.
