St Mary’s Little Saints play dress up of favourite children’s book

WAVERLEY– Little Saints of St Mary's had a blast acting characters from their favourite books.

Little Saints, the Early Childhood Development centre at St Mary’s School, Waverley, celebrated a few favourite children’s books.

Among a variety of activities centred around books, the St Mary’s Senior School girls spent time with the children, reading to them and acting out scenes from their favourite books.

Delani Shordries is dressed as Lightning McQueen, Thomas Lawrence is dressed as a mouse from the book Little mouse’s new friend and Riordan Kassiram is dressed as Chase from Paw Patrol.

Booksellers also visited the school to encourage the children to foster a love for books as the boys and girls had the opportunity to dress up as their favourite nursery rhyme or book character.
