Hillbrow police finally catch three wanted murder suspects in Johannesburg

HILLBROW – The suspects have been in hiding since the murder incident that took place at Joubert Park two years ago.

 


The Hillbrow police have finally caught up with the three suspects wanted for an alleged murder that happened two years ago in the notorious Joubert Park.

According to Hillbrow police spokesperson, Sergeant Mduduzi Zondo, “The three stabbed their victim who died from multiple stab wounds…the motive is unknown and the police have been looking for them since 2017.”

The suspects, aged between 24 and 25, were arrested at the park.

“On 13 March, our officers received a tip-off from our informant and they quickly responded. All three suspects were arrested and held at the Hillbrow police cells.”

Zondo said they are expected to appear in the Johannesburg Magistrates’ Court soon to face charges of murder and defeating the ends of justice.
