Trevor Noah’s bestselling memoir, Born a Crime: Stories from a South African Childhood has made it back onto The New York Times Bestsellers list at number one. The book was released two years ago and follows The Daily Host’s life under apartheid South Africa as a biracial individual.

“Wow! Born a Crime was released two years ago and has made its way back on the NYT bestsellers list at #1. This is amazing! Thank you!” Noah said in a tweet.

Last year, it was announced that the memoir was set to be adapted into a film starring Oscar-winner and Black Panther actress, Lupita Nyong’o. Nyong’o is set to play Trevor Noah’s mom, Patricia, in the film adaptation.

It was also reported that Noah would produce the project through his Ark Angel Productions alongside Norman Aladjem, Derek van Pelt and Sanaz Yamin of Mainstay Entertainment, and Nyong’o.

The Daily Show host’s bestselling debut memoir has been on the bestseller list since its release and has earned Noah the James Thurber Prize for American Humour and two NAACP Image Awards.
