JOBURG – Teekay Goldfish treats celebs to a day of relaxation as a part of his birthday celebrations.
Revive Wellness Spa has partnered with brand influencer and entrepreneur, Tinyiko ‘Teekay Goldfish’ Mathebula, to create a healthy and relaxing alternative to the fast-paced life and daily pressure’s faced by ordinary South Africans.
As part of his annual birthday celebration, Mathebula teamed up with the spa situated in Highlands North to create an amazing experience for celebrated personalities while also shedding light and making accessible the lifestyle of health and relaxation. The retreat was attended by Nobuhle Mahlasela, Simphiwe Ngema, Ntombi Zungu, Jabu Mayisela and Louisa.
“Being healthy is now a lifestyle, we need to take care of ourselves and watch what we eat and drink lots of water and just relax, revive, re-live and reconstruct,” Mathebula said.
In addition to the spa retreat, the brand influencer used his birthday celebrations to also give back to underprivileged school children in Alexandra through the Gold Fish School Shoes Drive which aims to give a child the dignity to walk a mile.
“We’d appreciate if the message and movement reaches masses all over the continent and hope that someone else in another township starts something like this and spreads it across South Africa,” he said.
