#EmergencyShutdown announced by Joburg Water, affecting numerous suburbs in the north eastern area
HIGHLANDS NORTH – Joburg Water initiates an emergency shutdown due to a burst pipe on Berkswell Road in Gresswold, affecting many parts of the north eastern suburbs.

Johannesburg Water has announced an emergency shutdown of water in numerous areas in the north east of Johannesburg due to a burst pipe on Berkswell Road in Gresswold.
There will be no water until 7pm.
These are the affected areas:
- Highlands North
- Bramely
- Kew
- Lombardy
- Alexandra
- Lyndhurst
- Savoy Estate
- Corlett Gardens

Joburg Water posted on social media that the reason for the water outage was for a burst water pipe on Berkswell Road in Gresswold.
